Geneve slipped on a silken robe and flung open the French doors of her country cottage. The view was intoxicating. Luxuriating amidst an auburn sea of vines nestled in the shadow of Stags Leap Mountain, she soothed her lips with Chardonnay while basking in the glow of a crackling fire. Ahh! Relish the romance of Oak Knoll Inn.
Like Geneve, we indulged in one of four capacious rooms lined with fieldstone and bedecked with a French armoire, Parisian posters, and billowy linens. The old world ambiance contrasted pleasantly with the ultra modern bathroom.
Innkeepers and owners, Barbara Passino and John Kuhlmann, have thought of every detail to make your visit enjoyable, such as their evening wine and cheese tasting. Take advantage of their deep knowledge of Napa Valley. Whisk your lover away in a magical balloon ride or plan a romantic massage? Done!
